Last weekend of April 2013 sees the family back in Jöhstadt for 2 weeks of work (plus some R&R) on the house.
The following work is planned:
- Complete emptying of the large barn and investigate converting it for living in.
- Take down the toilet block and install new guttering at the back of the house.
- Install new roof on the small barn using bitumen sheets (with 15yr gaurentee) and paint it to preserve the wood structure.
- Remove the straw from the top of the small barn and clear out the ground floor of all unwanted items.
R&R sees us visiting Annaberg-buchholz, an overnight trip to Prague (pubs?) and hopefully a walkabout around the area.
