April 2012 we spent the Easter week at the house, my dad (bet he wish he had stayed home) also came along and was a big help.<\/p>\n
We managed to complete the task of replacing the sewage pipes and installing a working\u00a0toilet and sink (before that we had to trek up the hill to the marktplatz and use the communal toilets).<\/p>\n
We also made a start on clearing out the old barns – how much hay ?<\/p>\n
I ordered a 7cbm skip (absetzcontainer) for bricks and mortar (bauschutt), Debs and Emily did a grand job of filling most of it with all the old bricks from the garden and first shed.<\/p>\n

ngg_shortcode_1_placeholderWe plan to go back at the end of April for 4 days and complete tearing down the old sheds, the neighbour asked the previous owner to sort them out as the hay stored in them is rotting against the wall – which has created damp and mouldy walls for the neighbour.<\/p>\n
